This little poem came to me one day, and at first I was certain that I'd seen it somewhere already. Being a riff on Stephen Crane's poem A Man Said To The Universe, I just assumed that someone else had flipped it on its end before, but a google search produced no matches, so I guess it is mine after all. My first attempt at bringing it to someone's notice was an almost mind–alteringly ridiculous experience, so hopefully it finds a more attentive audience here.
God said to a man:
“I have a sense of obligation!"
“However,” replied the man,
“This has not created in me
“A belief that you exist.”
